{Giveaway!} Adora Calcium Chocolates
I don’t know about you, but I’m a full blown sucker for 2-for-1 deals. 2 v-neck t-shirts at Victoria’s Secret for $30 may or may not have wooed me into a snap purchase yesterday.
So, if I have an opportunity to eat chocolate, and add a little calcium to my diet? Yeah, that’s a 2-for-1 deal I’ve got to get my taste buds around.
Adora kindly sent me two varieties of their chocolate calcium supplements to sample, and truthfully, I had my skepticism radar set to “high”. I was prepared for fake ingredients, chalky taste, and overall disappointment.
The little nuggets of chocolate couldn’t have surprised me more – not weird and chewy like other varieties I’ve tried, these little disks pass the test: real chocolate. No corn syrup, no weird ingredients, no GMO. Only 1 ingredient kept them from a completely unblemished report for me: they do contain soy lecithin (an emulsifier). Many varieties of chocolate do as well so while this is not uncommon, I try to avoid soy. Even still, that won’t keep me from indulging in this little disks here & there!
And speaking of a 2-for-1, I upped the ante with a little almond butter action. The perfect combination, tried and true.
Ohhh yeah.
Now, the chocolate fairies over at Adora have agreed to provide the hook up to 1 lucky Upbeat Eats reader! You’ll receive 2 bags: one of the milk chocolate variety, one dark chocolate.
Super easy to enter. Just do 2 things:
1. Like Upbeat Eats on Facebook. If you already have, just skip this step!
2. Leave me a comment letting me know how/when you’d enjoy these little magical disks!
Contest closes Friday, 2/1! Good luck, and have some chocolate on this Monday.

I would enjoy these after lunch for a sweet nutritious dessert!
I already like Upbeat Eats on facebook
I’d probably do exactly what you did and eat them with a scoop of nut butter!
I would eat these for a little after lunch dessert! Esp. the dark chocolate
I have six asthmatic kids, and they all take a medication that has bone thinning properties. I have to beg them to take a calcium supplement, but I bet they’d eat these easily!
Liked you on the book of face, btw.
I have read about these and would love to try them!!! I would probably eat with a scoop of nut butter as a sweet snack after the gym. I end up going to the gym late at night after work and classes and normally want a little something sweet post workout!
They’d make a perfect after-dinner dessert for me!
Those look healthy AND delicious! I’d have them post my afternoon run or on the way to work to make my body stronger both mentally and physically.
I like you on facebook! I would probably eat these when I’m feeling the midday work slump around 3pm. Chocolate is always a nice pick-me-up
I don’t have too much of a sweet tooth, but I do enjoy a little something sweet after my evening meal sometimes. Adora sounds like a perfect fit for that time of day!
I love Adora after lunch and dinner! And especially with a little peanut or almond butter. I think I am going to try melting them and dipping strawberries in it!
